Celulele neuronale care alcatuiesc scoar\u021ba cerebral\u0103 \u0219i emit poten\u021biale post-sinaptice cu valoare electric\u0103 ce pot fi preluate, \u00eenregistrate \u0219i evaluate cu ajutorul electroencefalogramei. Scopul acestei investiga\u021bii este de a oferi medicului informa\u021bii despre activitatea electrica a creierului in contextul unor manifestari clinice ale unei posibile afect\u0103ri cerebrale.<br>          Aceast\u0103 metod\u0103 de investigare a activit\u0103\u021bii electrice a creierului este foarte important\u0103 \u00een diagnosticul \u0219i monitorizarea pacien\u021bilor cu epilepsie, dar \u0219i \u00een diagnosticul altor afec\u021biuni neurologice de tipul encefalopatiilor, encefalitelor, tulbur\u0103rilor de somn, monitorizarea gradelor de profunzime a comelor, existen\u021ba unor tumori \u0219i stabilirea diagnosticului de moarte cerebral\u0103.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size wp-block-paragraph\"><br>                    <em>Electroencefalograma nu are contraindica\u021bii absolute, orice pacient purt\u00eend practic s\u0103 treac\u0103 prin aceasta analiz\u0103 neurofiziologic\u0103 cu limit\u0103ri pentru procedurile de stimulare ale activit\u0103\u021bii neuronale prin hiperventila\u021bie la pacien\u021bii cu afec\u021biuni respiratorii sau cardiovasculare severe, sindroame de hipertensiune intracraniana \u0219i siclemie, iar pentru stimularea luminosa intermiten\u021ba la pacien\u021btii cu dezlipire de retina, chirurgie ocular\u0103 recenta, keratite \u0219i dilata\u021bie pupilar\u0103.<br>                     EEG este nedureroas\u0103, neiradiant\u0103 \u0219i reprezint\u0103 o examinare de elec\u021bie \u00een diagnosticul anumitor afec\u021biuni neurologice. Procedura nu este invaziv\u0103. Aceast\u0103 examinare este utilizat\u0103 pe scar\u0103 larg\u0103 \u00een practica clinic\u0103 pentru a face un diagnostic (inclusiv pentru diagnosticarea de urgen\u021b\u0103), pentru a determina un plan pentru m\u0103suri terapeutice \u0219i de reabilitare \u0219i starea func\u021bional\u0103 a creierului. \u00cen plus, studiul este utilizat cu succes \u00een sistemul de expertiz\u0103 medical\u0103 \u0219i de munc\u0103..<br>Ecoencefalografia creierului este un impuls electric de ultra-frecven\u021b\u0103 care antreneaz\u0103 piezoplate aplicate pe cap. O imagine grafic\u0103 este afi\u0219at\u0103 pe ecranul monitorului &#8211; o ecoencefalogram\u0103 sau o imagine plan\u0103 atunci c\u00e2nd se efectueaz\u0103 un studiu bidimensional (de exemplu, cu neurosonografie la copii).
